Indirect electrochemical oxidation technology using chromium and cerium as mediators

Times:2026-07-01 17:50 Popularity:1

Our company plans to develop a pilot-scale technology for indirect electrochemical oxidation using metal ions such as chromium and cerium as oxidation mediators. This technology enables in-situ regeneration of high-valent metal ions through electrochemical reactions, which are then employed to oxidize various organic intermediates including alcohols, aldehydes, and ketones. It eliminates the need for traditional stoichiometric oxidants, features mild reaction conditions, and exhibits high selectivity. The pilot-scale system achieves efficient recycling of the oxidation medium, reduces operating costs, and has demonstrated successful application in green synthesis processes for multiple fine chemical products.
