On September 11, specialists from Dewcon Instruments Inc., USA, paid an on-site visit to our company. Both sides held in-depth exchanges on cooperation regarding the stage outcomes and future roadmap of the electrochemical methane functionalization project.
As a key research initiative to address the industry bottleneck of "efficient methane conversion", the electrochemical methane functionalization project has recently delivered phased breakthroughs. The two parties also held preliminary discussions and formulated R&D plans for four electrolysis technologies related to clean energy and green materials, laying a solid foundation for further collaboration in the future.
Subsequent project development will move forward along three core routes:
First, optimize the large-scale catalyst preparation process to resolve stability challenges when scaling lab formulas to mass production.
Second, carry out step-by-step commissioning of pilot equipment: validate the performance of single reactors first, then conduct linkage tests of multiple units.
Third, launch targeted research on application scenarios in collaboration with universities and research institutes, developing customized technical solutions tailored to fine chemical manufacturing, green electricity-driven chemical synthesis and other sectors.
