On September 17, the official unveiling ceremony of the Green Electrolysis Pilot Base, jointly built by our company and the Future Technology Research Institute of Zhejiang University of Technology, was successfully held at the industrial premises of Hangzhou Guangfu Industrial Co., Ltd. A total of nearly 30 guests attended the event, including Yu Bin (Dean of the Future Technology Research Institute), Xu Hua (Party Secretary of Changan Town), Qiu Gangming (Deputy Party Secretary and Town Mayor of Changan Town), Professor Xu Yinghua (Person in Charge of the Green Electrolysis and High-End Equipment Research Team) and his research members, enterprise representatives, as well as industry experts and scholars. All attendees jointly witnessed this significant milestone that connects the key link from laboratory research achievements to industrial implementation.

Positioned as a practical platform for the industrial transformation of green electrolysis technologies, the pilot base covers a floor area of 700 square meters with a total investment of RMB 7.6 million. It is equipped with four core functional zones: material testing, sample analysis, pilot-scale verification and equipment manufacturing. Supported by proprietary green electrolysis technologies and high-end specialized equipment, the base targets the core industry pain point of low conversion efficiency for scientific research achievements. It provides full-process industrial validation services covering the transition from laboratory samples to commercial end-products for electrolysis technologies and supporting equipment applied in energy chemicals, bulk chemicals, fine chemical engineering and drinking water treatment, enabling cutting-edge electrochemical technologies to be truly deployed and commercialized in the market.

At the ceremony, Yu Bin, Dean of the Future Technology Research Institute of Zhejiang University of Technology, emphasized that the pilot base acts as the core carrier for research commercialization. The institute will continuously upgrade resource support, fully advance the transition of green electrolysis technologies from R&D to mass production, and build a new benchmark for regional green technological innovation.
Xu Hua, Party Secretary of Changan Town, Fuyang District, stated that the local government will leverage policy incentives to promote industry-university integration and connect high-end technological resources with the demands of local enterprises.
Zhang Yi, General Manager of Guangfu Industry, remarked that as the site provider, the company will collaborate closely to build a benchmark model for integrated “scientific research + industrial application” development.

After the ceremony, led by Professor Xu Yinghua, team leader of the research group, the guests visited the green electrolysis pilot base and manufacturing site.
Professor Xu highlighted the large-scale electrolytic synthesis technology and equipment for vanadium electrolyte applied in the energy storage industry. After three generations of technical iteration, this project has been commercially realized with large-scale vanadium electrolyte electrolysis equipment achieving a daily output of 12 cubic meters.
As a reliable supplier of electrolyte production equipment for vanadium flow batteries, the project breaks the international market monopoly and responds to China’s national dual-carbon strategic goals.

In the future, taking the pilot base as the core platform, our company will focus on the R&D of large-scale vanadium electrolyte synthesis technology and supporting equipment, while expanding into green energy tracks including electro-oxidation of furandicarboxylic acid, electro-reductive dechlorination, and carbon neutrality technologies.
We plan to expand the site to 1,500 square meters with a total additional investment of RMB 10 million, to build a professional product testing center, process verification platform and electrolyzer manufacturing base. By further deepening industry-university-research integration, we will provide solid support for the efficient transformation and industrialization of scientific and technological achievements.
