Single-compartment electrolytic cells are categorized by sealing performance into sealed (S) and unsealed (US) types, and by temperature control structure into single-layer (01) and double-layer (02) types.
A sealed cell set consists of one glass cell body, one sealing stopper, one cover assembly, three sealing O-rings, three electrode conductive posts, and two gas inlet/outlet ports.
Available cell volumes: 5 mL, 15 mL, 30 mL, 50 mL, 100 mL, 200 mL. Custom volumes are available upon request.
Compatible electrodes for single-compartment cells include:
99.99% pure platinum counter electrodes (Pt sheets: 10×10×0.2 mm, 15×15×0.2 mm), imported RVC electrode holders, platinum wire holders, Ag/AgCl reference electrodes, silver ion reference electrodes, etc.
Sealed electrolytic cells are applicable to three-electrode electrochemical tests, as well as sealed electrolysis experiments with two-electrode or three-electrode configurations, such as research on electrochemical reduction of N₂ and CO₂.
Unsealed electrolytic cells fit three-electrode electrochemical tests and general electrolysis experiments using two or three electrodes, and are generally not suitable for gas-related electrochemical reactions.
